Paws and Purrs Rescue, Inc. in Rochester, New York, is an all volunteer, not for profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of domestic animals. We will see to it that any animal we take in receives the needed medical attention and is placed in a loving foster home until they are adopted into a permanent home. We WILL NOT euthanize unless health issues necessitate such a decision. All of our animals are spayed/neutered and receive age-appropriate vaccinations. Cats/kittens are combo tested for FIV and FeLV and dogs/puppies are treated for heartworm as needed.

Our group working in accordance with our mission statement take into our system homeless cats, dogs, newborn feral cats, small animals, or shelter dogs from various locations. We, in turn, provide medical care through Lollypop Farm at the Monroe County Humane Society and various local veterinarians. Only after an animal has been fully vetted (including spaying and neutering) is she/he then available for adoption.
Our plan for the future is to continue saving animals where and when we can. We can't save them all, but we can try to help as many as possible.
"Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened."
